Co-sensing with Radical Tenderness

Dani d'Emilia, Vanessa Andreotti & GTDF Collective

Co-sensing with Radical Tenderness redefines the role of the how-to book. Instead of a series of precise suggestions that respond to a very specific question, it consists of a series of open invitations to challenge our relationship with our multiple selves, with each other, and with our environments—which is all the same. Almost as a set of tarot cards, the book pages offer prompts that do not have unambiguous meanings, but are to be read differently according to one’s own sense. Oddly narrow yet applicable to a wide range of situations, these beautiful sentences do not offer solutions but invoke radical tenderness in the form of embodied sensing, new forms of coexistence, non-human authorities, modes of being beyond the knowing, non-normative and non-linear time. A call to action, a work of poetry, and a meditation guide to manifest the future.
