Slow Research Lab is a multidisciplinary creative and curatorial platform that offers an alternative space for theory and practice. Contributing thinkers and practitioners are designers, architects, artists, ecologists, technologists, and activists whose experimental, sometimes speculative forms of praxis challenge dominant structures and narratives, approaching the world instead through an expanded (Slow) spatial, relational, and temporal lens. The platform invites them into cross-disciplinary processes of dialogue that manifest as workshops, academic programs, exhibitions, performances, and publications. Past programming partners include the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Marres House for Contemporary Culture, Noguchi Museum, Holland Festival, and Pioneer Works, among many others.
