Synopsis
If your life were a book, what would the title be? Do you remember the first book you read? How books can be used as tools for discussion and also as spaces of encounter? What is the smell of books?
Making books is a practice of care; and reading —in silence or out loud with someone else— are forms of intimate care as well as political comradeship. That’s how books create communities, networks of solidarity by creating spaces of knowledge exchange. Through books, we can get together, to gather, to get there. We invite you to join us into a joyful journey through voices and people who love making, reading and inhabiting books, by sharing anecdotes, memories, and experiences related to that landscapes of care formed by pages, ink, and smells.
